All requests to be on SWATEAM will have an ON-THE-SNOW skiing skills evaluation with one of our coaches, to determine if your athlete's skiing skills are acceptable to be on SWATeam.  Please READ the days of the week our team trains to make sure your athlete can attend all of them. Also make sure your athlete can participate in all the competitions scheduled by MWAR.  IF they are involved in other sports that interfere with our program, they will not be accepted on SWATeam.

SWATeam Racing Inc., programs are looking for athletes who are proficient skiers, Christy to Parallel skiing skills, who ski at least 3 to 5 times a week. SWATeam Coaches will develop  their current skiing skills for Slalom and Giant Slalom competitions in local competitions in Southeastern Wisconsin. IF your child is skiing in a WEDGE or their turns are in a WEDGE - this program is not for them. Please consult your local ski schools.  

SKI RACING requires your athlete to be skiing on HIGH END ski equipment, not rental skis. Some additional equipment is required for SLALOM skiing as protective gear for racing in gates.  

We expect a full commitment to our programs schedule, training and race events as in any sport athletes participate in.  Athlete's must go through an on-the-snow evaluation [try out] by SWATeam to see if they are ready for our ski racing programs.  Thank you.
